Who is enjoying the 100 degree plus weather in Austin?
Is it just me? LOL!
Saw a dog chasing a cat, and they were both walking.....

Not bothering me yet, but starting Saturday, I will spend the next 72 hours outside without AC...it should be interesting .

So far so good. This is my first summer here and I'm nice and pregnant so we will see how things progress. I'm trying to stay really positive and totally embrace this. I'm used to hot summers, but none that last this long. I know I will be missing that Fall feeling come October.

When is the due date? My wife had a Dec baby a few years ago, and the worst 'heat intolerance' did not come until well after the worst of the summer .

yay! I love the heat. The breeze this year with the heat is nice...keeps the air moving and fresh.

I agree mandib..we've had some nice breezes this year along with the heat.
I don't mind the heat..I'd rather have heat than cold. Austin has just enough winter for me.

and workouts are that much more effective...lost 25 pounds last summer, just jogging outside.......yes, its like working out in a sauna, but you get twice the impact....
and I like that earthy feeling you get when everyone is dripping wet sweating, with
those air-conditioned blasts in HEB that feel like heaven!

We were just outside for a couple of hours. My daughter played in the water and I pulled some weeds and we did just fine. There are enough fluffy white clouds to block the direct sun every once in a while.

Consider yourselves all very lucky! We are FREEZING up here in Seattle and we haven't seen the sun in weeks!

I like it, especially for the outdoor workouts (biking, running). The bugs aren't bad in the heat of the day, and the breeze feels good at night.
For some reason, it really doesn't seem as miserable as 100+ degree days have in the past, but that might just be me getting used to it after all this time.
