Default House not listed on property tax assessment

Hello,
I am looking at a property including a house built in 1978. The house is not listed as a improvement on the tax assessor's report. what gives? Does the age exempt it?

Thanks!

What county? 1978 would definitely be in there. I suspect it's there, but perhaps not able to be found on the web site. This can be because of an error in street name, divided parcel (you may see only one of several parcels under a "parent" property id), etc.

Could be they have 2 lots and the house is on one of the two lots so it wouldn't show up on the other.
