And you still don't get it Marblecake. An HOA is not a government, it is a private person that has been granted governmental powers.

As to the topic, HOAs have everything to do with the topic. The Belterra HOA is used by the developer to ensure a propane monopoly for the propane vendor. The HOA does not serve the residents, the HOA serves the best interests of the board - and Belterra is not run by homeowners. That means the HOA serves the interests of the developer and the propane vendor - not the homeowners.[/quote]
