I just want to thank everyone that takes the time to read and reply to these forums. I started looking into Austin first because of the "Top 10 Lists" and then reading the forums and then visiting. My husband recently took a job that would enable him to move down south if and when an opening comes up. From reading the forums for a couple of years now, I see that people in Austin seem very happy there. Meeting people on our visits made me want to move down there even more. You are so fortunate to live in such a nice place. I know there are negatives to every place. You just have to way the positives and negatives.
I am reading other forums too and am willing to move other places like Florida, Phoenix or Palm Springs (for the sunshine) if that is where his job takes him, but I am hoping for Austin. This forum is the most positive of all the other forums I have read.
