Default Furnished month to month apt recommendations

Well...we were unable to find a house we wanted to buy so will be looking again in a few weeks. We need to find a furnished rental for July and/or August so it has to be a place that allows month to month renting.

Hubby's work is near 183/McNeil (NW Austin) so we'd want to stay within a 15 min drive of there. We need at least 2 bedrooms but 3 would be better - we have four small children. It would be nice if there were a toddler friendly pool or pool section. We are willing to pay a bit more if needed to have a very clean, quality apartment and complex. I'd appreciate any pros and cons you know of for any such places. And/or any suggestions for other options for short term furnished housing. Thank you in advance

2austin is on a distinguished road
I am not familiar with NW area apts but would recommend you get the free "For Rent" book from local grocery stores and start calling up apts to check which ones have short term fully furnished leases. This is how we found our place in SW. You can also get the local apt info from rent.com or apartments.com

good luck.

Do a search on "corporate apartments". I was temporarily relocated to Memphis this year and the company put me up in a fully furnished 2 BR apt. The company they used, Oakwood, has several listings with 2 and 3 BR apts in the Northwest area. They aren't terribly cheap, but they are cheaper than an extended stay motel and you live in a regular apt complex with all the amenities. I think Marriott also has a similar program -Marriott Executive apartments.

Craigslist would be another option - look under sublets & temporary.
