Do you mean Falconhead in Lakeway? If so, yes, new homes are being built. Infact they opened a new phase a few months ago. The builders in that area are Taylor Woodrow and Drees Custom Homes. There are also some good resales in that area. Great neighborhood and great golf course.

Yes I do mean Lakeway area. We really like the Falcon Head/Spillman Ranch area. I have heard of Drees but not the other builder that you mentioned. I like Drees Homes, great floor plans.
What would the commute time to Bee Caves and Mopac be like??

I've never timed that, but I'd guess about 20minutes? I live a bit from Falconhead, but we drive past it to take Bee Caves into town when we're going to Alamo Drafthouse.

Depends on what time of day. Bee Cave Rd has gotten more and more congested and the commute through Westlake is just plain crazy since there are no left turn lanes and traffic backs up if someone is making a left. I live 1/2 way between 360 and 71 off Bee Cave -it has taken me as much as 30 minutes just to get to 360 during peak rush hour in the non summer months. If you don't have to travel in rush hour, I'm thinking 20-30 minutes. You can also bypass Westlake by taking 360 South and then exiting on to Mopac North - spitting you out right at Mopac and Bee Cave. So, best case 20 minutes and worst case 45 minutes maybe (from 620 - depends on how far you have to go to get to 620 too.)
