Default Stop putting flyers in my door!!!!

Are other neighborhoods out there experiencing the serious INFLUX of door flyering lately??? This is something I never experienced living elsewhere (other areas of the country).... but it's NON STOP here (Round Rock). I have had 3 seperate people flyer more door today, and it's not even noon yet.

Most mornings, I get up and go walking with my sister, and at 5:45-6am there is nothing on my door - but when I get back, there are several!!

Attention business owners... I will never, ever use a service of a company that has created such waste on my front walkway!!

Several times a week...and I'm in a 3rd floor walk-up apartment. My complex supposedly doesn't allow this.

If I get another menu for an MSG-laden Chinese take-out joint, I swear I'm gonna...well, I'll probably just mutter something to myself

Just contact the business and tell them you don't appreciate the practice.

Technically, I think they're tresspassing.

I am sure they are - because do you think these kids that they hire use the sidewalks and driveways? No, they go from yard to yard... I know I sound old and crotchety (i'm only 33!) .... but seriously, it's so wasteful and drives me nuts...

NOT TO MENTION - there is always those homes where the people aren't home, or they don't use their front doors, or it's for sale - and so the fliers just collect on their front step, and blow around the street.

I get those flyers to. Extremely annoying. I find it in the same line as littering.

Yeah, we get tons of those too. Never use any of those businesses either. But it's true that many of them are just small businesses. I'll maybe check out something if it truly is a mom and pop operation, but a lot of them are large lawn companies or dominoes and pizza hut or something.

Just post a sign on your door "Please do not leave flyers during my absence. It will make my home appear vacant to thieves. To determine if I'm home, look for other flyers on the door or porch." Thanks"

that should take care of the problem, whadda ya think?

We get way too many at our house too! We go in and out through the garage so the front door has limited use. I will usually have 3 or 4 when I do decide to open the door.

Another thing which bothers me beyond belief is the phone books! I think we get a new one every other month. Exactly how many phone books do we need, especially with internet everywhere now! Something needs to stop!
