Default Hotel off I-35 (near 290 / 183)

I'm coming to Austin in 2 weeks for a 2-day training located on Springdale Rd. at 51st street. We'll be staying Thursday night and Friday night.

Could anyone advise some hotel choices in the $70 price? Nice hotel and safe area important / pool not important. Free breakfast a plus. Thanks for any help.

The training company gave us a list of 20 hotels to pick from -- which areas are the best:

On IH 35 north of 183
On / near IH-35 between 290 and 183
On IH 35 near Highland Mall between Cameron and 290

Has anyone stayed at or have any info on these hotels:

La Quinta Inn Austin Highland Mall
La Quinta Inn Austin North
Hyatt Place

That really isn't a very nice part of town but, presumably, you will just be there to sleep. Austin isn't that big geographically so you really can be more flexible than the immediate area. When travelling, I always consult the customer reviews in TripAdvisor. Here's the link:
