It could very well be the wireless router that's causing the problem. Ours cuts out every time we use the microwave. Cordless phones can mess with it too.

I would also recommend looking to see if http://uverse.att.com is available in your area. Unfortunately is not where I am moving to in Round rock It is a nice and fast service. Its a step above cable and two above normal dsl

Time Warner's customer service is poor, but the internet has been very reliable and fast for me. Has gone down like 2 times (for brief periods) in 2+ years at my current house. Previous place was about the same. YMMV.
