Hey everyone - I am looking for good doctor recommendations. We'll be living in Steiner Ranch and I need a good Pediatrician, Ob-Gyn, Dentist & GP. Any suggestions would be most helpful! Thanks in advance!

Hill Country Pediatrics in front of River Place is an awesome pediatric practice. New facility and great doctors and staff. Dr. Bartlett lives in RP but I've seen all three practitioners and all have been super. I always get same day appointments and can't say enough good things about them! Right across the sidewalk from them, a family practitioner is opening up this month. He lives in River Place and his name is Dr. Marty Molina.
I use Dr. Tara Mills with Renaissance Women's Group for ob-gyn (upon the recommendation of AustinTraveler - thanks woman!) and have been very happy with her. For dentists, I like Dr. Brian Scaff off Anderson Mill. Also a RP resident. Brian Scaff, DDS. Through the rumor mill, I've heard to avoid 4 Points Dental up in the HEB plaza on 620. |

Welcome! I'm in Steiner too. My other specialists are just OK, but my pediatrician is FABULOUS! Her name is Dr. Paige Suffredini. She is with Austin Diagnostic Clinic ay Far West and Mopac, but their office is moving to a new building just across from North Austin Medical Center. It will also be one stop shopping, so to speak, since it will have diagnostic facilities there.
Anyway, I can not say enough good things about Dr. Suffredini. She never has kept me waiting for long, she is super easy to talk to, and I absolutely never feel rushed. She actually spends time after finishing an exam to just sit and talk or play with my kids. She also has kids of her own, and can offer a lot of "what worked for me" advice as opposed to just telling you what all the books say. |

Thanks everyone for all the helpful recommendations! I am so looking forward to getting to Austin in a couple of weeks. Would also love to get your feedback on how you like living in Steiner Ranch. We've pretty much decided on that area, but are getting a little nervous that the commute to the city will be too long (we'll be working downtown).
