Does anyone know of new communities or developments in the Round Rock area that allow solar panels or can be constructed new with solar panels?

I am having a hard time find specific development info online.

TIA

Default Yes

I Know of folks putting in two types:

First is realted to swimming pools, exchanging heat from the roof to save on water heating costs, relatively inexpensive ( and simple) to install, no moving parts to breakdown.

The other is a little more involved, installing electrical exchangers, returning around 400KW/ day. Depending on where you're located, there is a substantial rebate for installing, however after all is said and done, it will take aprox. 20yrs to ammortize your investment ( from what I've heard). I haven't done it personally. I don't know of any builders doing it right now, but it CAN be done on a "after market" basis. If builder is pushed, I'm sure they would roll the cost up along with any other upgrades desired.

There is a house close to me in Pflugerville that has panels on the roof. I am not sure why the builder would care unless it was a huge eyesore in the front yard like what is in front of Applied Materials.

Yes - the Teravista HOA permits solar panels. A great place to live.
