Cool. Thanks for the warning.

We're currently using our diesel-pusher motorhome for a residence, and while its cost is more than most homes, it could still be referred to as a "trailer", I guess. While wrong, it'd be understood by most.

Really. I appreciate knowing what to expect, so the warning is very welcomed. You never know in a new town.

Kinda like when we first got to Vegas. You might be surprised in how places are on weekends versus weekdays.

Check for the coverband "Skyrocket"
I saw them live at Cedar Street, and there was NO ROOM for dancing, but at another venue maybe it could work!

Here is the link! http://www.skyrockettheband.com/Dates.html

Ok, I know this is another cover band recommendation (and not the recorded music you are looking for)... but that's mostly what we have around here, so I'll throw it out there... Check out the cover band newsboyz:

Newsboyz - The Ultimate Party and Dance Band for the Austin and Central Texas Area

I'd suggest catching them at the Oasis. Great atmosphere & plenty of room for dancing.

hey atxcio
They are at Baby A's stonelake on sunday 8/3. Would that be a good venue to take the kids ages 8 and 10? I have never been there and the show is early 6-9!

AGA,

Can't say for sure. It's much more restaurant than bar, so I'd imagine there would be plenty of families dining there at 6-9pm... however, it's got a big happy hour crowd due to all the employers/apts in that area. I've only been there once since it's been Baby A's (used to be "Bahama Breeze" or something like that), and that was for a happy hour...

I can't remember, but if you go to any of the clubs on the Richmond Strip, you're bound to find one. You could also look up the Houston Press online.
