New Water Park in Cedar Park
Where exactly are they planning to build that new water park in Cedar Park?
Off 1431? East or West of Parmer Lane?
What's the timeline?

I found this info in Community Impact Newspaper...
What: The Water Park is a $200 million major attraction with water slides, pools, lazy river and aquarium that allows visitors to swim with tropical fish. The development may include a 500-room hotel, tree-house suites and conference space. Plans include an adjacent high-density, upscale housing complex.
Where: South side of RM 1431 between Parmer Lane and Sam Bass Road.
When: No timeline available; plans and negotiations are being finalized.

Is this a good or bad thing for property values?

I'm not looking forward to it other than the fact that maybe my girls can get summer jobs in 5 years.
More traffic and noise.

Great thing, plus the lightrail right in CP and Leander will help values, or I hope

That was the Lago Vista rumor back in the 70's when all the elders (now elders) purchased the land and still nothing going on today.
I heavily doubt to see Disney coming this way.

Yeah, who knows about Disney. But for a few months at the H.E.B on 79 they had a little kiosk at the front of the store put up by one of the resorts that's supposed to go in there and were giving out prizes and such to get people to come and hear a lecture on the property (like time shares or something). They just stopped it a week or two ago.
