Default Good Optometrist

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent, affordable optometrist in the north Austin area. I just need to go get an exam so I can get a new perscription and plan on ordering contact lenses online because I heard it was cheaper. Thanks in advance!

Christine Ho at the Research Blvd Costco location is great. Very thorough. You don't have to be a member for the exam but to take advantage of the great service and prices at the Costco optical dept, you would need to be a member.

I can recommend David Brent in Seton NW Hospital - he's an ophthalmologist. I can strongly NOT recommend the bozos next to the Lenscrafters (optomotrists) at the Arboretum.

I don't have any experience with the optometrist, but I've used Eyemart for several pairs of glasses and they are very inexpensive. There is a coupon in today's paper for an eye exam for $39. You can usually get a pair of glasses for less than $100. I've been pleased with the quality of glasses I get there and the overall service. There's one in Round Rock and one on Airport Blvd.
