Default Lakeway Medical Center

Hi,

Would like to find out what the current residents of Lakeway think about traffic implications of the upcoming medical center on RR620? One afternoon around 5p I was almost shocked to see the amount of traffic between Lohman's crossing and Falconhead drive. Maybe it was an accident that was holding traffic up that day?

Anyways, with the upcoming Medical center, do you think the traffic will get much worse or would it be hardly noticeable? We are considering a house in the Preserve at Lakeway and wondering what traffic would be like on 620 in a couple years? What effect would that have on real estate in Lakeway as it gets more congested?

I don't live out there, but we always go to Lohman's Crossing to get to the Lake. It's grown quite a bit out there recently and with all the people moving here and wanting to be close to the Lake, I only foresee even more traffic and with a medical center going in, I can't imagine how it would be any better.

You are not the only one to complain about traffic on 620. There is a lot of new house construction and new businesses opening up. The middle and high schools also add a lot of traffic.
