Post Train system proposed /available in Nth Austin

Was wondering if any of you knew if there was a train/light rail system ever proposed to bring folk into the city from Roundrock Pflugerville etc.. areas?

Just curious if it's a plan down the road sometime.......Any websites would be appreciated associated with this

Thanks
T.

This is on another thread, but this title probably covers it better:

This shows a map of possible rail routes in the future. The RED line is the only thing that is already approved. The rest are possible routes and could end up being quite different.

Smile Thanks!

Much appreciated, I was just curious how far along they were with this to help alleviate the traffic & commute times we hear about on this forum.

Thanks again
T.

In a practical sense, traffic relief from rail lines is a long way away. In the near future, there will be limited rail from Leander/Cedar Park area to downtown. Any other rail routes will be quite a ways into the future.
