Smile Wells Branch

I am hoping to get some information about the Wells Branch area. My hubby is being considered for a job in that area, so we are thinking it would be nice to live within walking distance to his job. However, our ideal location would be in a conservative, family-friendly area that has a bit of an "out in the country" feel (open areas, not too crowded). Does Wells Branch by any chance fit that description? Or does it have more of a big city feel? Is it a safe, family-oriented area? How about liberal vs. conservative? Any information would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!

I live off Grand Avenue, very close to Wells Branch. I also have a friend with two small children who just purchased a home there, and she and her husband definitely did their homework! She wanted to move there just for the schools. Not sure if you would call it conservative or not, but it is in Travis County. We live in Cambridge Heights (head east from I-35 on Grand Ave. - there are lots of neighborhood over here). We were recently annexed to Pflugerville. This area would be a very short drive to work. HTH!
