Default mortgage lenders

Hi All,
We recently moved to Austin and bought our first home. We have 60 days for closing and want to start shopping for the mortgage.

I would really appreciate if you could suggest Mortgage brokers/lenders with whom who had good experiance in buying a home.

Thanks in advance.

We also recently bought a home. The market is changing and even in the 60 days, there were a lot of changes in the interest rates and the loan requirements have become tougher and tougher. In fact, the first house we made an offer on, we did not get, because all of a sudden, the required down payment increased, and rates went up. After that, we lined up different lenders.

Best to have the financing lined up BEFORE you shop for a home. & definitely before you BUY a home.

Good luck in your mortgage "shopping".

I went with Chase. They had a few perks to reduce the rate and closing costs
