Default Flowers and chocolate

I would like to get my significant other flowers just for the heck of it. That being so (and it not being a special occasion), does anyone have a recommendation for a inexpensive place to buy some in Austin? Or, I guess if anyone has any recommendations for a place to buy good/inexpensive dark chocolate as well! Thank you!

COSTCO!
2 dozen roses or a large mixed bouquet for $14.99
Can't beat it. Just bought a mixed bunch a few weeks ago and they lasted a full week. You need a membership though.

If you buy the flowers at the store, just take out of wrapper and make it personable and that you put effort into it, she will love that I bet

Go to Central Market. They will unwrap the flowers for you and arrange them nicely and then rewrap them at no extra charge. The store has tons of great chocolate too.

Any local places that deliver for a reasonable price? I'm out of town for a few days and can't stop by Costco or HEB as I usually would. I see the prices on 800flowers and have to laugh.

Try the website Proflowers....the freshest flowers I have ever received...you can usually get 1 to 2 day delivery and the prices are better than others

Unfortunately, that's what florist flowers go for - I have a relative in the florist industry and the flowers you get from a floral retailer are going to be a different quality than those you buy at Costco/Central Market. I like Parkcrest Florist myself.

Dragonfly Floral and Gifts here in Hutto does lots of deliveries in Austin. You can look at the website as I'm not sure of all their pricing.
