My husband hurt his knee while running a few years ago. He stopped running altogether for a while and then went to see a physical therapist. He does the stretching exercises she recommended and he can now run, but if he misses a day of stretching, he can't make it home.

He would like to go to a specialist and have it x-rayed to see if surgery would help, but as we are new to the area we don't have a clue where to begin.

Does anyone have a recommendation.

We live in Cedar Park, but he works on 7th Street downtown, so either location would work.

Thanks!

Dr. Bradley Adams at Texas Orthopedics - has an office right behind Seton Northwest on 183 between Duval and Braker. Actually, I'm pretty impressed with their whole office - here is their website: Texas Orthopedics, Sports and Rehab Assoc. (http://www.txortho.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/site.home.cfm - broken link)
