I love waterloo... one of my favorite places. True, some things on the menu I avoid (chicken fingers), but overall, I love it. My personal fave - the chicken fried steak. Just be sure to get the gravy on the side or it will be soggy. And add a little tabasco for some kick!

I go to that location on a regular basis, and I'm so excited that they are opening one by the galleria! I'm moving to Dripping Springs, Travis County side off Hamilton Pool, in Novemeber, so I can still enjoy waterloo!

Waterloo is a very popular place here. It usually is jam packed during lunch hours bcoz of all the businesses around 360 & 2222.
We go there from work for lunch and never had a bad experience.

I'd say try taking your kid with a friend or group of friends - he'll have more fun that way. The heat of the slide - not really Waterloo's fault. I do think their food is pretty average but I stick to the burgers or pulled pork tacos (yummy) and on a cool day it's not a bad place to hang.
