We didn't think SF was too far of a drive, but then again, we like to road trip. As for whether a two year old would like it, I think my son would have liked it as a two year old. He's four now and loved it.

Our 1 year old was a little young for sweetberry. If our kids were older I think it would be fun. I was looking for more of a petting zoo, but they just had goats and a pony ride. Many people brought coolers and made a picnic out of it, which is what we would do next time.

The drive was very long, we took 1431 which is windy and slow. We came back on 281/71 which was much faster.

The things I mention here are some of the things they had last year when we went with our playgroup. Their kindergarden class is going here next week for a field trip. Oh, they also have a petting zoo setup.
Is there a picnic area where you can bring your own lunch?

All of my son's kindergarten class is at SBF at this very second - they do it as an annual trip for the 5 year olds, so it must be a fun place!

Yes, there's a big covered pavilion with picnic tables and there are also some vending machines with drinks...one is soda, another is for water.

We do SF every year for the past 6 years. My almost 7 year old was born on Halloween and SF by far has the best $$ on pumpkins. We put out a huge display every year and have spent well over $300 on pumpkins alone here in Austin but spent less than $150 @ SF. Yes we take a truck and an SUV to fit all the crude...err stuff my wife buys. They also have great things for the kiddos and nice setups for pic's and homemade icecream. We always make a day out of it and go for lunch at the Bluebonnet Cafe.....Mile High Pie who can resist!

We went up to Sweetberry today for our first time, and it was so much FUN!! My two and four year old loved it. We spent most of our time on the hay ride and in the Texas maze. I would strongly suggest making the trip. The website is www.sweetberryfarm.com. We had so much fun that we are going back this week.
