Great map, Steve.
Do you also have the map for the other side of the ballot? That might be a good reverse map for the OP.
Just pondering my favorite Real Estate persona -- Peggy Hill. (Yeah, King of the Hill) Peggy's observation is that people often do not know what they want, but they always know what they DO NOT want. Sounds sort of jokey and found it true for me, as well as many others.
btw, where would the Nader folks be staying around Austin?
I tend to enjoy folks who are capable of an independent thought.

I saw some houses in 78723 for around $150K (driving by, didn't go inside). I'm still trying to get an idea of the neighborhood myself. It's either a wonderful place to live or a gang zone with daily drive-by shootings, apparently.

I live at McNeil and Parmer. Maybe not the MOST liberal, but we did organize a bra burning outside of Wendy's. Oh wait...that was a dumpster we set on fire. I think somebody took off her bra during the festivities, though.

Politics in Austin is a very big deal, especially if you're employer is a republican and your a democrat.People always want to surround themselves with others that share the same view on things, and politics is one of them.I wouldn't be surprised to find a high number of republican employers fire employees who are liberal or democrat just so they can make the unemployment rate higher for a democratic president. When I let one of my employers in Austin know I might be coming into some money and that one day I might be driving a nice car like his he said "don't vote for Obama"

I would say pretty much anywhere in Austin, based on my personal experience. You'd be surprised what your neighbors might be up to, but since we're pretty live and let live, it's not an issue.
I'd be MORE than happy to have you live next door to me, for example. (But, wait. My across the street neighbor is almost half a mile away if you count the driveways. We get along just fine! ) But if I still lived in Central Austin, I'd be happy to have you live next door to me.
