best place to buy a couch/sofa in the Austin area?
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best place to buy a couch/sofa in the Austin area? Preferably with a low delivery cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

craigslist.org for price. You will have to hire a moving company (I bought a great piece of furniture and had a professional mover do the heavy work). My $4000.00 bed was used and in excellent shape, cost me $750.00 and $200.10 to move 25 miles with one inbetween stop at a storage facility for part of the set). You can get quality upscale couches, pay to have them moved and still save money on a great piece. For other options, Burnet Road has several furniture shops new and used. Higher end shops like John Williams Interiors has nice couches (expensive), I'm not sure of the delivery charge.

We ended up buying EVERYTHING for our home at Lack's.
We went comparison shopping all over, but the selection and prices were too good at Lack's.

What style? Modern, Conteporary, Traditional?
Delivery fees will very from $60-$120 depending on the retailer. Sofa's will start at $699 and go up from there... and yes typically you do get what you pay for!...ie a cheap leather sofa, is not all leather they have plastic/pvc sides etc!!!

Try emove. You have to rent the truck yourself but you can basically buy the labor for loading and unloading, I call it renting friends. Good service and you don't have to worry about someone holding you up for money you prepay but they don't get paid until the job is done.

Costco has some really nice couches. If you order online, the price usually includes delivery. They are displaying holiday stuff right now, so they have moved all of the furniture out. However I have been on all of the couches they have in the stores, and they are all really comfortable!
