Default Lakeway-Hill Country?

My friend says that the "Hill Country" is very windy, and gets lots of rain. Would Lakeway be part of that? Is that even part of "Hill Country"? Would it be a good place to live?

Yes the Lakeway area would be considered part of the Hill Country (as would a couple hundred miles west & northwest & southwest of Lakeway).

It's sometimes windy....sometimes not. Doesn't get alot of rain, but when it does it can pour.

Most would consider it a good place to live, but it would completely depend on what one is looking for. It's not good for surfing .

I live in in Spicewood about 5 mins from Lakeway......what is this word "RAIN" it has been so long that I am not familiar with the word "RAIN"......keep hearing promises of "RAIN" from the local news but no "RAIN" not even during hurricanes.
I am part Cherokee maybe I need to start dancing....or wash my car.

I am on a hill with a lakeview and it is not too windy unless a front moves in and then it is windy everywhere. The breeze is great as it can help keep you cool on hot summer days in the pool.

Lakeway is a great area and fast growing, not too far out but out far enough that you slow down from city life. Great schools, family oriented and lots of new growth.
