Not quite sure what you're asking here. Is there some reason we should think of thlelm particularly different than anyone else?

Oh! Oh, heck, yeah. As long as you don't move here and try to make Austin into the UK or Switzerland, you'll be welcome!

My girlfriend is Lithuanian and lives here in Austin with me. She was living in California for quite some time, but recently moved here. She is quite fond of the area and really enjoys the beautiful weather. There's a little bit of everything in Austin, so you're bound to find something you enjoy doing!

People in Austin think that Europeans are human beings who live on planet earth. Oh, and if they're nice then we like them.
We have this exact same attitude toward anyone from the U.S., Canada, Asia, Australia, etc.

Just do it!
My good friends from Switzerland moved to Wimberley, a small town outside of Austin. They own a Bed and Breakfast. They make the best food and treat me like family whenever I visit them...they always have a warm cottage for me when I'm in the area.

I'm glad to hear it, but it's not the case everywhere.
To texasNick: I'm happy to know you have swiss friends
I really can't wait to visit Austin.
