Chiropractic costs & recommendations? (Burnet, Lone Star: insurance, how much, medical)

Hey, anyone here use(d) a chiropractor? How much does it cost, generally (for the first appointment and any follow-ups)? And how many times does one have to go, usually? Also, any recommendations for a good one (especially near soco)?

It really depends on your insurance. My initial consultation cost nothing. After that, they figured out what my insurance paid and the balance was paid monthly for one year. I went three times a week for the first month, twice a week the second month, and once a week for the third month. After that, it's a monthly visit. This is, of course, my routine, I'm sure it's different based on individual needs.

I go to Lone Star Chiropractic at Burnet and Anderson. They are great there.
