Default Donating an old TV?

I finally(grudgingly and with bourgeoisie guilt) made the switch to a flat panel HDTV and would like to donate my trusty old 19" tube Toshiba. I really don't want this lead-filled box to end up in a Chinese landfill. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

Goodwill takes them and has a program to recycle them.

If you want to someone to use it . . . humm . . . try contacting various charities that work directly with needy families, Caritas, Lifeworks, Eldercare, etc.

Thanks! I'll look into Goodwill's recycling program and some charities as well.
