This restaurant has the best potato salad that I have eaten in a long time but the accolades stop there. This is the most overpriced seafood joint that I have ever been to. The Quality does not match the $$$$$. This is coming from SA. I was just shocked, so was my friemd from NOLA and Germany

Yes, but you pay for the ambience. I might as well go to Long John if I want this type of quality. This place used to be pretty reasonable.

Is Quality Seafood really that much more expensive than fast food? If they raised their prices, I'm not aware... but I always thought it was a pretty cheap joint.

They are the wholesalers for most restaurants and Central Market, if their prices are high, then seafood prices have risen (fuel costs way up, no salmon catch in some rivers this year, fisheries collapsing).

I'm sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience there. I know nothing about you as a judge of seafood. We don't eat fish often but when we do, I'll continue to buy it there.

Never eaten their prepared food.

When my foodie meetup met there a couple of months ago, the food was good and the prices reasonable. What were your expectations? (Anyone coming from NOLA would likely be disappointed, given the overall quality of the food there; that doesn't surprise me.)

Food was just over priced and the quality was lacking- 11.99 for two 3 oz grilled catfish filets and thats it.

No sides? We got sides with our dinners.

Otherwise, the price sounds about right for a restaurant of that range.
