Why do people in Austin talk bad about Houston so much?

I think People from Austin have always been off in there own little fantasy land where nothing bad every happens and we should just all hold hands and think positively all the time because we all know positive thinking the only way to stop it from raining, aging or dying, the 5% unemployment rate the job freeze, layoffs.Yeah let's take a trip back to reality instead of la la land ok.
Typical majority of people in Austin always criticize what other people are doing wrong, and never look at themselves first.A lot of people there also will never admit to being wrong about anything either.I wonder how many qualified psychology majors on this site as well ?I know let me think and over analyze what someone said on one of the post, and of course I 'll do it before I've even met them or really know anything about them. Typical Austin and who say's people from Austin aren't pretentious..LOL

Have you ever been outside of Austin? Because you are describing a good percentage of the human race. Sometimes people suck, it doesn't matter where they are from and where they live. That said, I find that the people in Austin are least friendly whether they are sucky or not

hmm sounds like Dude has been wronged by an Austinite. You have my sympathies man. The worlds a cold, hard angry place. I've tranveled a lot. Lived in Germany, New York and even a few other places in Texas. I wouldn't live anywhere in Texas except Austin ever again. Lighten up, Austins optimistic true but not without cause. Our unemployment rate only looks good at 5% because the rest of the nation is at 10%. Its all relative.
