Best Chinese restaurants in Austin
Who has the best chinese food in Austin? I want to find a place with great food for little money (no more than $11 per meal), and the place must be clean.

For dim sum we like T&S seafood. Some people swear by marco polo, but we have tried it twice and thought it was actually really bad.
We used to go to tien hong, but just prefer T&S.

Din Ho is pretty good. They have good Chinese BBQ and traditional style dishes. Overall, I don't think the Chinese Food in Austin is great...

Suzi's China Kitchen? I've been to the one up north, but that was a long time ago. Very nice for lunch.

Suzi's is horrid.
Dim Sum at Marco Polo used to be good a few years ago but supposedly the entire kitchen staff left. Shanghai supposedly is the top dim sum in town now and it was okay the one time we went there a few months ago. Chinatown has dim sum now also and I hear a lot about it but I don't know if it's really good or they are just really skilled in advertising themselves.

Chinatown dim sum is good, but it's expensive. They try to push their "unique" dim sum items on you which tend to be around $7 each.

Just an FYI: Marco Polo is gone! Mesa Ranch has taken its place.
Thong guy is right 4-5 years ago the dim sum there was fantastic, you couldn't find a place to park. Then the staff changed. We still liked the menu items there and were sad to see it go.
