Default Someone, anyone, HELP!

Im am currently living in Everett Washington. I need to find a suburb in the Austin area thats comparable to where I live now. Im not in the middle of no where and there are malls and stores galore...and Im about 30 minute commute from downtown Seattle. My town is fairly clean with a mix of middle, lower and high class. Can anyone help me figure out a town for me and my girls? Hopefully someone whos been to Everett and can shed some light!

If you could let me know your price range and where you might be working that would help a bit. I live in the Seattle area and have been to Everett and can provide perspective because I lived in Austin for 10 years in two very different locations (Pflugerville and SW Austin). Seattle is 3x the size of Austin. Let us know what your main priorities also (good commute, good schools, etc.)

We just moved to Austin (Round Rock) from Everett, Wa almost 5 mo. ago and are just loving it. There are so many great areas here to live so you really need to figure out what your priorities are first and your price range and then go from there. Do lots of research first and look into the property taxes as well 'cause they are outrageous here compared to Washington state.
