I am thinking about moving to Austin .

I would like t oknow how is surrounding area of following street address.

1625, Lohmans Crossing Rd
Austin TX 78734-0000

1] Socio economic status.
2] upscale or low income families. [ in 20 miles radius from this address.]
3] Crime rate.
4] Schools.
5] Growth of area.
6[ cost of housing [ 3000 suare foot] and cost of living.

Everybody is within a 20 mile radius of every address in Austin. It ain't LA. A 5 mile radius is on the verge of too big.

1) The area is lakeway (by lake travis). I believe the average home price in lakeway is around 400K but this is probably skewed by the million dollar lakefront homes. Lakeway is typically a higher end area.

2) Most of the area is newly developed, typically will be mid to higher incomes. Most low income housing is east of I35 or south of highway 71

3) Dont really know
4) lakeway schools are supposed to be pretty good
5) growth is probably pretty fast, but it isnt close to employers.
6) I would expect the $/sq foot to be about 130-150. But there may be old developments mixed in with the new ones. That address is showing a lot of commercial properties on that rd based on the tax appraisal district records.
