I need to put some cabinets into my garage,so I don't need them to look pretty. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find used cabinets from maybe remodel or something?

It's 23 miles from me but I might check out the Habitat ReStore...just to see what's there. They mention cabinets on their site but I have no idea as to prices, etc. Might be worth a road trip!

I checked there and they didn't have much in the Georgetown store, I'll check the austin store. I was hoping to find some dinged up ones that are sound since they are for a garage.

It is a pain to constantly check craigslist, but if you are familiar with RSS you can setup a program to automatically harvest listings from craigslist.

Run the search you want in craigslist, select the rss button at the the bottom of the page.

Copy the link

paste it into an RSS reader. (I use reader.google.com)

The RSS reader automatically downloads the listings and you can just check the RSS reader for new stuff, even if you dont look for a few days the matching stuff will get queued up and will be highlighted as new.

I read about 30 publications this way and it is the only way to read from multiple websites (cnet, wsj, wired etc)

I also have about 12 simultaneous craigslist searches going on for things that I might want to buy.

I get about 3000 updates a day (a lot of them are craigslist real estate items) which are manageable in an RSS reader. Obviously I dont read 3K updates/day.

I had a man Drew Borics of Talent Woodworks make some cabinets for me. He usually makes upper end cabinets but will probably make whatever you wish. He knows what he is doing. His number is 796-9187.
