I had a feeling it would rain when the middle school behind our house turned on the sprinklers. The last couple of years we lived here whenever the school turns on the sprinklers it rains. Drove me nuts to see it on whenever it rained. No fooling.

Love roses. Yes - last years storm was crazy. I hope we don't get another one of those this year.

What time of the year do the big storms come in? I'm not talking about hurricane season.

My parents are planning on coming down for a month's vacation and finding something down around South Padre island. Can I assume that even if they come in the "rainy" season it will be occasional storms and not constant rain?

I got here almost a year ago and I remember getting some awesome storms in March, April and May. I'm so hoping that is the usual for Austin because I love that kind of weather! The last few months have been beautiful, but boring...
