Good school, educates the "whole child", Episcopal tradition, solid academics, known for being very nurturing. Graduates tend to go to solid high schools.
Cons: expensive, pressure to donate (as in many private schools), considered by some to be pretty elite.
They have a new head-of-school who appears quite strong. I would suggest you tour and see what you think.

I'm such a school junkie! I remember way back when Trinity was just starting in the "Blue House" by UT.
It is another very good Episcopal school. I think that they emphasize their Episcopal identity quite a bit. Their rep is that the student body is very wealthy and not as diverse as some schools but the reality could differ. Pricey.
They have probably the best school web site I have seen with only St. Stephen's at a similar level. What that tells you beyond the fact that they probably have some parents with web design experience, I do not know.
Austin is growing faster than the private schools can keep up. So we are lucky to have schools like Trinity open.
You really need to take some tours! You aren't looking for admission for next year, are you? It is a bit late for that, but if you are looking for 10-11, then you are on track.

Good school...trendy in the West Austin area right now. If your child is average to above average, it is a great choice. If your child is a little behind, it may not be the wisest choice as their at-your-own pace style could mask a learning deficiency for several years.

Trinity is a good school- well balanced, good diversity. Trinity was founded by the (infamous) Gary Bradley (founder of Circle C, sort of sleazy developer, google him) when, as the story goes, his child didn't get into another Episcopal private elementary school. The drawbacks, as I see them, are that it's K-8, which necessitates another transition at high school, and the location- hard to get into and out of. I guess the fact that it's new might be a drawback, too.

A good friend of mine has both of her children there, works there and her father, who HIGHLY values a great education, was one of the founders along with Gary Bradley. Her children are both very intelligent, thoughtful, polite, well-rounded little boys and seem to love their school experience. It is considered an "elite" school but my friend told me they also strive for diversity. That of course can mean different things to different people. The woman who was the first headmaster was a very highly recognized educator. I served on a BOD with Gary and he liked to talk about his accomplishments. He considered that school one of the more positive things he has done. You should definitely check it out and form your own opinion.
