I don't have a problem with the libraries, but I usually DO find the DVD sections lacking. I know nothing about the ones inside of Austin though. Only the ones closest to me in Williamson County.

Try the main library, John Henry Faulk Central Library, 800 Guadalupe.....currently going through some construction unfortunately...will open on April 15........I hate to say it, but this is the only branch with a huge selection of DVD's........well worth going to, even if its out of the way....
forget the little and storefront branches.......

Not Spicewood! It's terrible! Cedar Park has a decent collection. Especially if you're into animé--they have a ton of that stuff! If you get a TexShare card from your local library you can use just about any other library in the state for free.
