I heard on CNN that San Antonio/Austin area is under a tornado warning (I think they said for tomorrow but not sure). Did you receive any tornados and are they very common in Austin?

You can search and find all sorts of info on tornados in this forum. but short answer - no tornados reported that I am aware of, and no, they are not 'common', but tornado watches and warnings are somewhat common. A warning often means the doppler radar has picked up rotation, but that does not mean it has (or will) extend to ground level.
