got this via email from the Mueller LiveWire today. It has some interesting info on the homebuilders, the new Dell Children's Hospital that is going up, the Ronald McDonald house and parks and amenities going in.


Key Dates:


April 1: Meet the Homebuilders Open House at Mueller Central from 1 to 4 p.m. Enter to win two Platinum tickets to the 20th Annual Old Settler's Music Festival to be held on April 19-22 for backstage access and refreshments from KGSR.
April 20: Recommended date to submit your pre-qualification letter application and $50 processing payment to the lenders
April 30: Deadline to mail your Pioneer registration form and pre-qualification letter to Catellus at Mueller, #313, PO Box 2013, Austin, TX 78768-2013
Mid-May: Pioneer registrants will be notified of their priority order and begin the sales process with their selected homebuilder
Late 2007/Early 2008: Residents will begin moving in; construction on roads for the second residential phase will begin
The Latest on Mueller's First Residential Phase

On Monday, March 5 Mayor Will Wynn joined Catellus to announce the six homebuilders that will build the first 348 homes at Mueller:


David Weekley Homes: building both affordable-qualifying and market-rate row homes and traditional yard homes
Meritage Homes: building traditional yard homes
The Muskin Company: building shared garden court homes
Saldaña Homes: building shared garden court homes
Standard Pacific Homes: building traditional yard homes
Streetman Homes: building traditional yard homes

The Mueller Central information center is now open. Learn more about all things Mueller at 4550 Mueller Blvd. and Aldrich St. (along Airport Blvd. halfway between IH-35 and 38th ½ St.)
