I know we don't agree on things like driving slow in the left lane, but thank you for saying this. It will be the second year in a row I have invited out of town friends down here for Eeyore's, and I'm so excited that it's only 2 days away now until my favorite day of the year in my adopted home and that I will get to enjoy it myself and have a blast with my friends. Let's hope the weather holds!

Eh, it's just bodies. Everyone has them. Even little kids. I'm not sure why it's so shocking for a kid to see a naked body, heh. I'd be more concerned with sex & violence. 'Course, I've never been to Eeyore's so maybe it has that too!

So... people go WITHOUT wearing costumes right? I can't think of anything I own that won't be too hot. And I can't imagine wearing face paint in 88 degree weather (or any other time, come to think of it, heh).

Yeah, lots of non-costumed people, generally, but they don't end up in the pictures near as much .

The issues you MIGHT have with EBP (or it might not bother you):
- the smell. There are some quite 'fragrant' people there some of the time, who have been playing in the drum circle for hours and have not bathed in days. At times it has been near overpowering in some areas .
- the pot. Again, this is more of a smell . But there are typically a lot of stoned people out there (or used to be), usually in and around the drum circle area in particular.
- the partial nudity. There really is not that much, typically, but kind of like the costumes, if you go wearing body paint you will end up in a few thousand pictures on the web. To paraphrase the Austin laws, most partial nudity is not illegal as long as you are not creating a disturbance.

Leslie, lovely? I just don't get that "guy".

I hope your kids didn't have to witness Leslie's display!

Thong guy drives his bike right in front of our school just about once a week. Feels like Europe.

You ought to talk to Leslie sometime. Might turn all of your preconceived notions right on their head!
