Coming from Dallas, I would say the entirety of Austin is a hippy town.

But specifically, Hyde Park is about as hippy as you can get in Texas. Maybe SoCo, but it seems a bit more hipster/yuppie than authentically hippy.

Haven't you noticed the turf they use on the golf course? It's a cross of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia.

Well, compared to Dallas, Duh!!!

Even the people who were hippy in the 60's have evolved... or died.
