Where is the best Thai food in Austin?
I like Thai Passion the best, but there has to be a tiny family owned place that is great. Any ideas?

I like Thai Passion too, but I also really love Blue Bamboo, which is at the Shops at the Hill Country Galleria, across from Best Buy. Its a small, family restaurant that just opened within the past year or so, and its always packed!

A new Blue Bamboo just opened in the shopping center on the NW corner of Slaughter Lane and Escarpment Blvd. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Of all the ones on the Drag, I'd say Madam Mam's. I don't have much experience with restaurants off the Drag, so I couldn't tell you much more.

I second Madam Mam's, although I go to the one next to the Central Market in S Austin.. I think it's at 290 and Westgate.
