Maps
Anyone know of a good place to purchase maps? I don't mean travel maps, I mean maps for the wall of the world, the USA, other countries, etc. Thanks.

allposters.com
And if you don't do the world wide web, I know Miller Blueprint sells posters of that sort.

Yes, I was looking for a place in or around Austin. I could do the web but I like to see what I'm getting in person.

Yes, Mapsco is great. I also get great (cheap) big maps at Teacher Heaven!

If you're in to funky or old maps, go down to the PCL (Perry Castaneda Library) and go down to the map room. They may (I have never tried) be able to do some passable copies for some fee, not sure. There are some COOL maps down there, ones from all the way back to the 1600s (or earlier) and some old ones of Austin, etc. If you are a map geek, they are fun to just peruse through .
