Default Travis Settlement ---thoughts on this sub?

My husband and I are looking to purchase a lot in Travis Settlement. Does anyone have input on this subdivision and also input on the area. (Address is actually in Spicewood, but the neighborhood is pretty close to Bee Cave.)

TIA!

I live next door to Travis Settlement and it is a great, semi-rural area. If the commute is not a problem for you it is an excellent area with low taxes, great schools, and privacy.

Agree with hoffdano said. Nice area with many great lake and Hill Country views. It is rural so you will need a well and septic system, but neither should be a problem.

I suggest you look at home and property listings online for zipcode 78669. Also look at 2009 tax assessments at Travis Central Appraisal District and search for example for properties on Bee Creek Rd. Note that these are just indicators and I can't say they reflect acual selling prices. I do know that many homeowners are protesting their 2009 tax appraisals because some values went up significantly. For no apparent reason!
