Reports in NW Austin (Anderson Mill/183, Cedar Park, Jollyville) and Northern Round Rock (University and 35... I think I heard this one but never saw it).

We hardly got any rain in my area of north-central Austin. We got a lot of lightning, but none of what was predicted as far as hail, tornadoes and wind speed.

If you all were listening to the weather alert radio they did say on there that law enforcement reported a tornado touchdown at I-35 near Round Rock. That's all they said though on the weather alert.
That dang thing was going off so much I just turned it on and left it going.

It's finally quieted down some.

There's another smaller storm headed our way..in Burnet county now.

Weather underground has some good radar for tracking and updates very frequently. You can animate and zoom in.

Were a bunch of you guys online during a storm? I always unplug and disconnect any cords to my lap; I had a friend who's lap was fried through the electric cord...and saw on tv, a story of a teenager who was knocked across the room, by being online, sitting in front of his desktop during a storm. It killed his 'puter and even burned the bottom of his feet.

I, for one, stay far away from computers and phones during storms.

Tornadoes don't do so good in hilly terrain , such as Austin TX or Tulsa OK or even San Antonio TX....

Nice thing about a laptop with wireless network in the house, you can be unplugged and still on line.
