Well, the fact that she said in the interview that she was not argumentative or uncooperative, only to disappear into thin air once the video was aired, loses her a good deal of sympathy from me. I suspect she didn't think about the fact that there would be a video of her behavior. Getting upset at the time is one thing; lying about it after the fact is quite another.

Sure, she should have been more compliant, but he is a professional public servant. Fire his dumb ass now!!

So, seeing how cooperative she was on the highway, when the cops with warrants showed up at her door does anyone think she would even answer it, and if she did, why would she be more cooperative then? She wouldn't let that cop arrest her on the road, she certainly wouldn't let them take her from her house. Then we'd be hearing about the more than one loser cop who didn't do their jobs right because they ALL had to take her by force.

Well, that was predictable (and part of the phenomenon I was describing), and I was wondering how long it would take.

The side of the road is not the place to argue a traffic stop. You sign to appear to argue it before a judge, or a judge & jury.

She got exactly what she asked for. Didn't you hear her dare him. I'd have pulled the release, too!!!

The news shows an edited version for shock and awe. Watch the entire tape, not just what the news wants you to see.

We saw her dare the cop sarcastically............right after that she said she was a 72 year old woman.

I believe they do. I think I've seen it on my friend's husbands belt before. But, I have a feeling that even were this guy to use pepper spray, there would still be calls for him to be fired for spraying it.

No-one is trying to justify her behavior. She behaved appallingly. She broke the speed limit and refused initially to sign the ticket and swore at him. For this he was willing to risk killing her. I think we are in different orders of criminality and stupidity here.
