Sir,

Thank your lucky stars that you have never had the "pleasure" of visiting one of the most arrogant self-rightous cities in the nation. However, you will find some more liberal areas in the central part of austin--roughly, downtown northward bounded by I-35-Mopac and the south of 183. Possibly a mile or two south of downtown as well. Once you leave that area, metro austin is as redneck, and conservative as any town in rural Louisiana, East Texas, or Misssissippi.

Please tell me how it REALLY is so I can stop guessing and assuming (unless I've hit it on the nail).

eepstein, do you ever leave Avery Ranch? Do you even LIVE in Avery Ranch? Your posts seem to indicate that you haven't a clue about what Austin is really like, especially in the areas that you love to badmouth.

You seem to be a very unhappy person here. Perhaps Dallas would suit you better? Life's too short to live someplace you hate, and it's too short for the people that you love to hate, too (assuming you're the same in person as you are online and go on and on about how horrible entire groups of people are).
