Default Any ideas on buying new him in Cedar park with good school?

I am looking for new home in Cedar Park area with reasonably good schools. My price range is upto 450K. I looked at a home I liked in RABC - Monterey Homes. But they can not build that plan as they have 7 of them in the community. I know that there are penty of places to buy new home but it is becoming difficult to find one I like and cana be made available relatively quickly. My kids need to go to elementry and middle school commng school year so ideally I need to decide quickly.

Yes I did look at Drees. It seems that with the Plans Monterey home has you get a loyt lot more house for the money. It is just that they are not very responsive.

I found that all the extras that were included in Drees made it cheaper than my neighbors meritage where they had to pay for every little thing. Just my experience though.

Are there no suitable resale homes?

If timeline is a determining factor, your best bet is a resale home or a completed spec. You'll be upside down on value on a new home the day you move in, so I'd loosen up whatever restrictions might have you ruling out resales because you can probably find nice a one less than 5 years old.
