Default DMV Driving Test Route - Austin

Hi ,

I am soon going to give my driving road test at the DMV office located on 13730 N Highway 183, Austin. Does anyone know if they have a fixed route on which they generally take drivers for the test?

Do you mean the Department of Public Safety? We don't have a DMV here.

I had my road test there last February, you do the parallel parking behind the DPS office, and I then took a right onto Hymeadow Dr, and we drove around in that area back behind the DPS there, around Westwood High and through the surrounding areas. Took maybe 15 minutes max, there's a lot of 4 way stops back there and traffic around the school in the morning is heavy, so watch out for that, and the orange warning signs that reduce the speed while school is starting/ending, they're all over the place there.
