Default Relocating-Country Area-Austin????

We are looking to relocate to TX in 6-12 months. We are coming from So Cal - but are not city people at heart. I was raised by farm people in the city and long for a 2-5 acre home OUTSIDE of town. Looking for a nice small town in the Austin - Round Rock - Marble Falls area. I want a small home - hate spending my spare time cleaning!!! Horse barns/stalls. No children at home. Still need to work - reasonable commute time 30-40 MAX.

Can anyone recommend? Liberty Hill, Florence, Bertram, Serenada, Granger, Bartlett???? ETC????

Any help is greatly appreciated......... Myrlene

40 minute commute to where? Austin? Where in Austin? That will determine a lot....

Granger may be a little too far out noting your commute times.
